Seeing a bee hanging around a flower for hours.. enchanted, enticed, enslaved and ecstatic.. this term 'gold dust ecstasy' floated into my mind. Love could be all those things to the one who is in it and if you are on the wrong side of love you could be disenchanted and disgusted to say the least. This is my take on love .. for someone who has been totally and completely in love, this kind of love seems perfect, the endless love, the intense love, crazy magical love. Love isn't just a feeling, it is about giving, sharing, forgiving and willing to let go. Most people seem to have adopted the attitude 'what is in it for me' and have made love as much a mathematical equation as a business. The willingness to be tender, merciful, forgiving and being able to let go is what takes love from being a merely physical act (for some) to the spiritual level. Love is the spiritual union of souls. I believe in it strongly!

A heart of gold
amidst petals that unfold
nectar filled
finely distilled
in selfless filters
of endless love,
boundless passion
a graceful reflection
of a forgiving core
devoted to giving
without expectations
pain of no import
no sadness to report
just content to see
the pollen covered bee
In gold dust ecstasy!
